The Benefit of Order
This little piece of information may not seem like much, but if you abide by it then it will pay big
dividends.

Ask for Feedback.
A great practice to start in discipleship, or in pretty much any area that you want to improve on, is to ask for feedback. Invite others to give input into what and how you're doing with discipling your children. You'll find that an outside view is very beneficial to see the things that you can not.

Teller or Teacher?
When giving your children instructions to follow, make sure you have spent the time to teach them how to fulfill the command. Sometime we expect results that we haven't taken the time to model or teach to our kids.

Know to Teach
Can you teach someone something that you really don't know?

Espresso or Hot Chocolate?
In reading the scriptures, you might notice that you have a different palate than your 7 year old. This clip talks about some of those differences and what you can do with them.

Prayer.
How do you teach your children to talk to God? Is it routine? Is it shallow? Selfish? Take a look and see if you are teaching them poorly or teaching them that prayer is powerful.

Deeper.
Look into the Bible stories you read with your children a little bit deeper. There is more there than you think.

Win Their Hearts.
This video focuses on the importance of capturing the heart of the child. Obedience is extremely important. But do not leave out how important it is to have a child's heart as well. The two go hand in hand, and should never be separated.

Intentional.
Intentional is a call to focus with a goal in mind for each of your children. It's easy to have hit and miss, here a little there a little discipleship. But that's not what Jesus has called us to do. We need to see the end in sight for our kids and make a plan of how we want to get there.

Our vision is to see a community of Christian leaders reach their full potential to Lead people to Live to Love God and others. Leadership at River Church is focused upon equipping God's people with the knowledge, resources, relationships, and opportunities to fulfill the ministry and calling God has on their lives.

These are our beliefs about God's truth as revealed in the Bible. These are what we consider to be essential Christian beliefs and non-negotiable fundamentals of the faith..

The weekly gathering of the church (the people) is a time for celebrating our great God and what He is doing in our lives and world. We do not see Sunday as the church, but rather a gathering of the church for the sake of celebration.

The children are taught to love and worship the Lord Jesus Christ. Each class meets in a safe and relationally focused environment that includes both a large and small group time.
