James Simons is a Title I school in the inner city of Charleston that relies heavily on donations for school supplies. Orange Grove Elementary Charter School serves a diverse student population consisting of children who live throughout Charleston County.

Our GOAL is to present 300 backpacks full of school supplies to students of these schools!

Today and tomorrow, July 30 & 31 from 6am – 12 midnight each day, we will give school supply lists to customers as they enter, serve the Walmart staff breakfast, help customers find the items in the store, put the donated supplies in backpacks, and then store the backpacks ready to deliver.

And we’re even more excited that we’ll be having this celebration at the beach! (Folly Beach County Park to be exact.)

Bring a picnic dinner and the whole family. Don’t forget your beach chairs!

Keep in mind that admission to Folly Beach County Park is $7 per car. River Church will cover this cost for you if needed…just email info@riverchurch.com.
