Tailgate Party @ CSU

We’re very excited about our next tailgate party. It’s going down at Charleston Southern University on Saturday, November 14. Time TBA.

We’ll have free burgers, sodas, frisbees… And what’s better than free?! Help us cheer the Bucs on to a victory over Stony Brook!

Prepare Your Hearts Gathering

Our third and final “Prepare Your Hearts” Gathering is set for Saturday, November 21 at 5pm. If you’re considering joining the River Church Core Team, this is a great night to come and spend some time with the River Church family.

As before, we’ll worship together, eat together, share communion, and spend some time in Scripture. But this go ’round we’ll also have guests from Toccoa Falls College with us. They’ll share stories from the mission field and spend time serving with us.

Core Team members can log on to My.River to view the needs for this event. Everyone else can just show up at 5pm. We’ll wrap up around 7pm. C3 / Carolina Christian Church has been gracious enough to allow us to use their facility again. Click here for directions.

Tailgate Party @ The Citadel

We’re taking one of our world-famous cookouts to the paid parking lot at The Citadel the day of their game against Samford University.

The party gets going a little after 10. Come on out and grab some [free] lunch!

Next Cookout at Charleston BCM

Our next cookout will be held at the Charleston Baptist College Ministry house on Calhoun St. down. 6:30pm.

The BCM pulls from College of Charleston, the Citadel, Trident Tech, and MUSC. Our Lead Pastor Todd spoke at their fall retreat a few weeks ago, and several of the students have already asked how and when they can jump onboard with River Church.

A few River Churchers visited the BCM last Wednesday… These students are pumped about the cookout and are bringing friends. It’s going to be a memorable night.

Bring friends, and come hungry.

As always, the cookout is FREE.
