The first Sunday Worship Gathering of River Church on January 31, 2010. The Trinity – God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit – is the blueprint of perfect community. River Church has been established to resemble that unity within community.
I just want to say how blown away I am at what I just heard. This was an expression of God's heart for His children…. God calls us into relationship with Him and if we will just come to know Him, as Pastor Todd stated, we will know what it is like to be in community and will be able to bring that to this world. Christ instructed the church to go into the world, community by
community, to preach the good news to the poor, bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners. There are communities like this all over the world and God has called His church to go forth and be His hands and feet. This is a vision God has placed in my heart and I am so overwhelmed by what I heard. I was just sitting at home this evening and the Holy Spirit placed your church on my mind so I went to your website and found this pod_cast… I need to come and talk with you guys, share what God has been saying to me for the West Ashley Community…..
