Well, it’s final! After searching West Ashley high and low, we have finally selected a location for River Church gatherings! The facility is amazing, the location is central to the Charleston area, and God has already laid the foundation for a phenomenal relationship with the administration.
Orange Grove Elementary Charter School has opened their doors to be our host school on Sundays beginning January 31, 2010. (We’ll also be doing some Saturday practice and preview services onsite later this fall.)
Last Tuesday, the Core Team had an exciting evening touring and praying together at the school.
Orange Grove has been around for many years, but this school year marks their first year in a brand spanking new, state of the art facility that is perfectly suited for a portable church setup. Principal Larry DiCenzo and Assistant Principal John Clendaniel have been amazing to work with and have already become friends. We look forward to many years of partnership in serving the community of West Ashley.
There’s a lot to do, and not much time to do it. But with a Big God, the River Church Core Team, and a great facility, the sky is the limit.
